Remuneration policies are similar to the payroll surveys. The difference is that remuneration policies are usually generic in nature and serves as a legal document. Additionally, the remuneration policies applies, not just to employees but to legal representatives of the company including the Directors, Shareholders and other Executives.

Employee policies involve the general fiduciary matters applicable to the engagement of staff including probationary periods and conditions for promotion. Director’s remuneration policies define the entire Directors’ packages such as sitting allowance at Board and Committee meetings.
